Christmas Procession with Carols

23 December 2021
Christmas Procession with Carols
The Christmas Procession with Carols takes place on Thursday 23 December at 7pm.

The same service will also take place on Wednesday 22 December at 7pm and Friday 24 December at 3.30pm.

Enjoy the story of Christmas told with carols and readings as Norwich Cathedral Choir moves in procession through the whole Cathedral.

This is more than a retelling of an old story, for in scripture, song, prayer and poetry, we are reminded that Christmas is a living reality.

The 7pm service on Thursday 23 December will be live-streamed on the Norwich Cathedral Services YouTube Channel and will be available to view for 24 hours following the service via this link.

All are welcome at Norwich Cathedral's Christmas services. To help people stay safe at our services, the Cathedral's seating capacity will be reduced and once all seats have been taken we regret we will not be able to let others in. We recommend arriving early for services.

Please note that, in line with Government guidelines on Covid-19, it is mandatory for everyone to wear a facemask in the Cathedral unless they are exempt.

Hand sanitiser continues to be available for visitors to use at the Cathedral’s entrances and throughout the building. We encourage people to maintain a safe distance from others when moving around the Cathedral in order to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Visit Britain and Visit England have awarded Norwich Cathedral with the We’re Good To Go industry standard and consumer mark to reassure visitors that the Cathedral adheres to Government and public health guidance with regard to Covid-19.

Please be aware that the information above may be revised if Government guidelines change with regard to the Coronavirus pandemic.
