Christmas Crown Trail

16 November 2021 until 5 January 2022
Organ Crown

Norwich Cathedral is delighted to be joining in with VisitNorwich's Christmas Crown Trail this festive season - and visitors to the Cathedral will find our crown up high on the top of the Cathedral organ!

More than 80 shops, restaurants, hotels and iconic historical buildings across the city are taking part in the Christmas Crown Trail which is challenging people to find as many crowns as possible dotted around Norwich.

The trail - which will run from 16 November until 5 January - is inspired by the story of King Henry I spending Christmas at Norwich Castle 900 years ago in 1121.

Download the trail map here and, from 16 November, have fun spotting crowns galore across our fine city!

The free Christmas Crown Trail is being delivered by VisitNorwich and Norwich BID in partnership with Norfolk Museums Service.

Staying Safe – Hands, Face, Space

Please note that, in line with Government guidelines on Covid-19, from Friday 10 December it will be mandatory for everyone to wear a facemask in the Cathedral unless they are exempt.

Hand sanitiser continues to be available for visitors to use at the Cathedral’s entrances and throughout the building. We encourage people to maintain a safe distance from others when moving around the Cathedral in order to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Visit Britain and Visit England have awarded Norwich Cathedral with the We’re Good To Go industry standard and consumer mark to reassure visitors that the Cathedral adheres to Government and public health guidance with regard to Covid-19.

Please be aware that the information above may be revised if Government guidelines change with regard to the Coronavirus pandemic.
