St Paul tells us that women should not cut their hair but should cover their heads; that woman was created for the sake of man; and that women should be silent in the churches; but he also commends the ministry of Euodia, Syntyche and Prisca. What was Paul’s attitude to women? Should they serve God by serving their husbands or should they preach, teach and prophesy? In this session we look at the wider picture of St Paul's attitude to women and try to separate fact from redaction and envisage Paul’s message to women in the 21st Century Church.
