Opening times for Individual Prayer

Daily
Norwich Cathedral (c) Bill Smith

In line with government advice, the Cathedral and Cloisters are open to the public every day for individual prayer.

The opening times are 7.30am until 6.30pm every day.

Please note that, due to organ recitals and services taking place, the Cathedral will be closed on Wednesday 5 May from 2pm until 3.30pm, on Friday 7 May from 12 noon until 5pm and on Monday 31 May from 10.30am until 12.15pm.

People are very welcome to use the space of the Cathedral as a place for reflection and prayer, somewhere to be still, to sit and think, or to light a candle.

The Cathedral’s one-way system will continue to be in place, with the main entry to the Cathedral via the main Hostry entrance and a limited number of people allowed in the Cathedral at any one time.

People will continue to be asked to wash their hands with sanitiser on arrival, observe social distance and keep two metres apart.
