Seeing the World in a Different Way

Franciscan Brother Sam will be giving a talk entitled Seeing the World in a Different Way at a Christian Aid event at Norwich Cathedral on Monday 25 March.

The event - which will also include a presentation about Christian Aid Week and the charity's work in Sierra Leone with mothers and babies - will start at 7.30pm in the Weston Room.

Brother Sam is well known for his wisdom, teaching and guidance. He will be inviting people to explore how we can look at our world differently – that all we have is a gift of God to be cherished. We can show love for each other and care for creation in recognising the creator of the earth.

Brother Sam was honoured by Archbishop Justin Welby in 2016 for his outstanding commitment to the life of prayer of the Church and community life.

He has been particularly associated with Hilfield Friary in Dorset, where for the past 10 years there has been a focus on the care of creation and sustainable living, shaped by the Franciscan tradition. He now lives at the Franciscan house in Plaistow, East London, which reaches out to those in need.

The event is on Monday 25 March at 7.30pm in the Weston Room.

Entry is free. For more information, email norwich@christian-aid.org
