ASH WEDNESDAY 
Wednesday 6 March 
Eucharists with Imposition of Ashes 8am, 12.30pm, 6pm

The 6pm service will be a Sung Eucharist with music by Allegri and Byrd sung by Norwich Cathedral Choir. The Revd Dr Peter Doll, Canon Librarian and Vice Dean, will give the address and introduce the subject of this year’s Wednesday Evening Reflections. 

MOTHERING SUNDAY
Sunday 31 March, 
Family Eucharist, 10.30am

This is the day when we give thanks for our mothers. The Very Revd Jane Hedges, Dean of Norwich, will be preaching at the service and flowers will be distributed at the end of the service.

PASSION SUNDAY
Sunday 7 April
Service of Healing and Reconciliation, 6.30pm

This quiet devotional service will focus on healing, through the ministry of reconciliation and forgiveness. There will be the opportunity for prayer and anointing. 

PALM SUNDAY
Sunday 14 April
Sung Eucharist starting with a procession from The Forum, 10am

Join us for a special procession (led by a donkey!) starting from The Forum at 10am and arriving at the Cathedral for the 10.30am Sung Eucharist.
Ecumenical Evening Prayer, 6pm 
Father David Paul, the Dean of the Roman Catholic Cathedral of St John the Baptist, will preach at this Palm Sunday service at Chapel Field Road Methodist Church.

MAUNDY THURSDAY 
Thursday 18 April
Chrism Eucharist, 11am

The clergy of the Diocese of Norwich gather to renew their ordination vows in preparation for celebrating Easter. The holy oils used for the sick, those being baptised and those being confirmed or ordained are blessed. 
All are welcome to attend.
Eucharist of the Last Supper, 7pm
Our Holy Week preacher, the Revd Dr Malcolm Guite, will preach at this Maundy Thursday service which recalls Jesus’ last supper with his disciples.
The feet of some members of the congregation will be washed and the sacrament taken to the Altar of Repose where a watch will be kept until midnight.

GOOD FRIDAY
Friday 19 April
At the Foot of the Cross, 11am

A gathering for all ages to reflect with words, music and symbols on the events of Good Friday.
Solemn Liturgy, 2pm
Following the Reflections event at 1pm (see p.8), we celebrate the Liturgy of Good Friday with the procession and veneration of the Cross and the singing of the Passion. We also receive communion from that which was consecrated on Maundy Thursday.

EASTER SATURDAY
Saturday 20 April
Easter Vigil, 8.30pm

The first celebration of Easter as we gather around the Easter fire, hear stories of God’s saving love through the ages, light the Easter candle and celebrate with those being confirmed. Please bring something to make a noise as we celebrate the beginning of Easter with fanfares. 

EASTER SUNDAY
Sunday 21 April
Choral Eucharist, 10.30am

The Revd Canon Andy Bryant, Canon for Mission and Pastoral Care, will preach at the Choral Eucharist of Easter Day.
Festal Evensong, 3.30pm
The Very Revd Jane Hedges, Dean of Norwich, will preach at the Festal Evensong of Easter Day.
