On Sunday 25 November we bid farewell to the Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Revd Graham James, and all are welcome to attend a Farewell Evensong marking his retirement at 4pm.

Bishop Graham will also be presiding and preaching at the 10.30am Sung Eucharist at the Cathedral.

Bishop Graham is retiring after nearly two decades serving the Diocese of Norwich and a career with the church spanning more than 40 years, and he will conclude his public ministry on the final Sunday of the Christian year.

Bishop Graham, who hails from Cornwall and was ordained in Peterborough in 1975, is currently the longest serving bishop in the Church of England.
After various roles within the Church of England he was consecrated Bishop of St Germans in 1993.
He moved to Norwich in 1999 and was enthroned as Bishop of Norwich on 29 January 2000.
In February 2018 he celebrated the 25th anniversary of his episcopal consecration, having celebrated 40 years of priesthood in September 2016.
