Science Fun Day

From making rockets to building your own cathedral - there will be lots of free science fun for everyone at Norwich Cathedral’s Science Fun Day for Families on Saturday 27 October.

The event will run from 10am until 3pm and there will be activities galore throughout the Cathedral and in the cloisters.

Throughout the day families will be able to learn about a whole range of topics including plants, animals, forces, gravity, the solar system and more!

Families can come and build their own cathedral, have fun doing some very messy experiments, and find out what happens when you munch your lunch and digest your food.

You will also be able to learn about space with Rocket Rod, see real rockets, and make and fire your own!

There will also be the chance to find out more about animals – and even meet some in the Cathedral – and to have a go at making music with the unique WOOFYT which shows how an organ makes its booming noise!
