Would you believe that transplanting someone's poo could make you healthier or less moody? Turns out it could do! Poo from healthy donors is implanted into the gut of a patient, often by colonoscopy used to treat variety of conditions such as Crohn's disease and irritable bowel syndrome. Interestingly, more evidence is emerging that faecal transplants might impact obesity and emotional well being for better or worse, depending on the donor. Join us to hear all about it and the possible impact on modern medicine.
