Charity Sleep Out 1

We’re hosting an overnight sleep out in aid of the Church Urban Fund, to raise awareness and money for their work in supporting homeless people.

At present the charity has projects in both Great Yarmouth and Kings Lynn, as well as in other cities across England.

If you would like to join in the sleep out then please contact Canon Andy Bryant and he will send you more details. You can donate to the cause online here.

Homelessness Weekend Events

This Charity Sleep Out is part of the Cathedral's Homelessness Weekend, during which there will be a series of events taking place.

Prior to the Sleepout, on Friday 26 January at 7.00pm, theatre company Cardboard Citizens will perform a play in the Nave called Priority Need. Tickets are £5 - £8.50, with all proceeds going to the Church Urban Fund. Find out more and book here.

Then on Sunday 28 January, Michael Newey (Chief Executive, Broadland Housing), gives the address at Choral Matins at 10.30am. This will be followed by a congregational meeting in the Weston Room from 12.30pm (soup & roll lunch provided), during which there will be a screening of the film Calling Home by Megan Fox, followed by a question and answer session with Michael.
