Passion Plays - A user
From Trafalgar Square to Port Talbot – and even in Norfolk – Passion Plays are proving surprisingly popular centuries after their heyday. This seminar will look at various aspects of the Passion Play, including origins and connections with Norfolk; the development of the plays and their modern appeal; and the imaginative and literary variety of the performances. Passion Plays are infectious, and the seminar will include some group dramatic readings – participation is warmly encouraged!

The seminar leader, Revd Corin Child, is a priest vicar of Norwich Cathedral and the chaplain at Norwich School. He has a background in writing and literature and has recently written a Passion Play for pupils at the school to perform.

Cost: £10.
