Franciscan spirituality for the 21st century: a spirituality of simplicity and solidarity.

Saint Francis sought to follow Jesus, so offering a model for discipleship for his companions. We shall consider Francis' life, and some early Franciscan writings, noting themes of simplicity of living and solidarity the poor, the vulnerable and with creation.
