I Fagiolini return to Norfolk & Norwich Festival for the first time since their extraordinary collaboration with Circa, How Like An Angel. Celebrating their 30th anniversary and the new release on Decca Classics, I Fagiolini bring their trademark innovation and brilliance to a repertoire of French song and poetry.

Throughout this tasting menu of French choral delicacies, Satie’s mysterious Gnossiennes for piano provide palette-cleansing sorbets between the vocal courses, which include powerful Poulenc, rhapsodic Milhaud and ravishing pieces by Fauré and Saint-Saëns. The centrepiece is a daring new arrangement by Roderick Williams of the ravishing slow movement from Ravel’s jazz-flavoured Piano Concerto in G major.

I Fagiolini is sponsored by Abellio Greater Anglia.

Tickets £25, £20, £15, £10. Book online here
