Norwich Cathedral is a great place to work and so we hope you’ll consider applying for a position with us.

Dippy Volunteer Duty Managers

Norwich Cathedral is preparing to host the Natural History Museum’s Dippy the diplodocus in summer 2021 and now the search is on to find an enthusiastic team of volunteers to play a part in this prehistoric adventure!

We are looking to recruit a number of Dippy Duty Manager Volunteers to lead our team of Visitor Experience Volunteers and help give a warm welcome to all of the thousands of people who are expected to visit Dippy on Tour at Norwich Cathedral from 13 July until 30 October 2021.

All volunteers will play a key role in helping to make this ambitious exhibition a huge success and in return volunteers will gain unique experience of working on a major National History Museum project in one of Norwich’s most historic landmarks. Volunteers will have the chance to benefit from specialist training, develop valuable new skills and enjoy behind-the-scenes access to one of the biggest events taking place in East Anglia this year.

You don’t need to be a dinosaur expert to get involved. You just need to enjoy meeting people and leading a team, have a friendly and helpful attitude and lots of enthusiasm!
