Special service for Coronavirus anniversary

22 March 2021
To mark the anniversary of the start of the first lockdown, Norwich Cathedral will be holding an online Vigil of Lamentation and Hope on Tuesday 23 March at 5.30pm. All are welcome to join us online on the Norwich Cathedral Services YouTube Channel.
Coronavirus Memorial
During this special service we will remember all those who have died during the Coronavirus pandemic and we will pray for people from all over the world as we look to the future with faith and hope.

The Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Revd Graham Usher, will be joining us for the service which will be sung by the Cathedral Choir and live streamed.

Due to current Coronavirus guidance, the 5.30pm service will be online only. Please watch the service on Tuesday 23 March via the Norwich Cathedral Services YouTube Channel.

After the service, the Cathedral will be open from 6.30pm until 8pm for people to come in to light candles in memory of loved ones and to take away a small cross from the Coronavirus Memorial in the Nave. We will continue to remember the departed in the weeks ahead with an ongoing memorial area in St Luke’s Chapel.
