Enjoy weekly online organ recitals

Norwich Cathedral's organists are offering a free weekly organ concert for people to enjoy in their own home via the Norwich Cathedral Services YouTube Channel.

Every Wednesday people will be able enjoy watching the Cathedral's musicians play the mighty organ, which is one of the largest pipe organs in the country.

The series of five concerts includes two hour-long evening recitals (which were previously planned to take place with an audience prior to the lockdown announcement) and three shorter mid-afternoon recitals of popular organ works.

The Cathedral's new camera system also means that people can enjoy a behind-the-scenes view of the concerts and watch both the musician's hands and feet at work!

Programme details will be made available on the Cathedral website in the days before each concert as well as on the YouTube listing.
