Covid-19 health and safety statement

05 January 2021
The Dean and Chapter take health and safety responsibilities very seriously. Working with our health and safety advisor, we have developed an annexe to the Cathedral’s Health and Safety Policy, plus additional risk assessments for our activities. Our aim is to provide staff with a safe workplace, and for visitors, with a Cathedral that is safe to remain open with restricted activities within the current climate.
Norwich Cathedral
  • We have carried out Covid-19 risk assessments and shared the results with the people who work here
  • We have cleaning, hand-washing, and hygiene procedures in line with guidance in place
  • We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a two metre distance in the workplace and within the Cathedral.
  • Certificates confirming compliance with the Government’s guidance on managing the risk of Covid-19 are displayed in all appropriate areas.
  • Clear guidance is in place for all who enter the Cathedral
