The three concerts that have unfortunately been cancelled are:
  • Saturday 21 November 2020 – Ode for St Cecilia’s Day performed by Norwich Cathedral Chamber Choir and Norwich Baroque.
  • Saturday 19 December 2020 – Handel's Messiah performed by Norwich Cathedral Choir and Norwich Baroque.
  • Saturday 30 January 2021 – Bach's Christmas Oratorio performed by Norwich Cathedral Chamber Choir and Norwich Baroque.

Ashley Grote, Norwich Cathedral's Master of Music, said: "The COVID-19 pandemic has hit music and the arts particularly hard, and it is with heavy hearts that we have had to cancel some of the Cathedral concerts that were planned for the end of this year. However, we will continue to review all our musical activities in line with government guidance and look for creative and safe ways to offer performances at the Cathedral, particularly at Christmas, when music means so much to so many people."

All ticket holders will be offered a refund via the Cathedral's booking agents St George’s Music Shop and TicketSource.
