The Broderers' Guild

Established in 1997, the Broderers’ Guild at Norwich Cathedral continues a long tradition of textile work and embroidery within the Church, which dates back to Medieval times.

As well as supporting the needs of the Cathedral itself, the Guild restores ecclesiastical textiles and designs and makes new frontals and vestments for use at churches across the Diocese and beyond.

Here you'll find some pictures of the work they do, as well as images taken at a recent workshop tour. You can find out about forthcoming tours here.
