The Broderers' Guild

The Broderers’ Guild at Norwich Cathedral takes care of and repairs ecclesiastical textiles, as well as designing and making new frontals and vestments for use at the Cathedral and elsewhere.

Workshop Tours

Go behind the scenes by signing up for one of our Broderers’ Guild Workshop Tours, which run throughout the year.

The tours cost £5.00 per person and take place on a Wednesday afternoon from 2.00pm, though private group tours are also available by appointment.

Commissioning work

The Broderers’ Guild is able to offer its services to parishes and private individuals in the Diocese of Norwich and beyond, providing restoration expertise, alterations or repairs to existing work, as well as designing and making new items such as chasubles, stoles and frontals.

It’s a completely bespoke service and we offer free estimates for any group or individual exploring the possibilities.

Volunteering

If you enjoy dressmaking or embroidery and have some time to spare, we’d love to hear from you. To express an interest please complete our volunteering form.
