Family Afternoon: A Right Royal Celebration

In celebration of HM The Queen's Platinum Jubilee year, our next family event will have the theme of A Right Royal Celebration!

The activity afternoon will be on Thursday 2 June from 12.30pm to 3pm and there will be lots of royal-inspired crafts and workshops for primary school-aged children to enjoy.

Tickets cost £3.50 per child and must be booked in advance by Wednesday 1 June at noon.

There are two different workshop programmes to choose from:

Choice A – Games, Story, Craft
Games – parachute and other games on the theme of ‘jubilee’
Story – learn about the life of Queen Elizabeth and make a commemorative plate
Craft – choose from a selection of royal themed crafts

Choice B – Singing, Heraldry, Craft
Singing – learn a simple celebration song and make a percussion instrument
Heraldry – design your own heraldry and come up with a family motto to accompany it
Craft – choose from a selection of royal themed crafts

All sessions are run by an education practitioner and all materials are included.

Family Day
A reminder that all children attending the event must be accompanied at all times by an adult. Please limit adult numbers on site to keep additional numbers down. Children aged under four are welcome to attend but will not be catered for and cannot be booked into a workshop.
