Opening Times

Norwich Cathedral is usually open every day from 7.30am until 6.30pm.

Please note the Hostry will be closed on Good Friday but the Cathedral will be open as normal.

All are very welcome to enjoy the Cathedral and Cloister for quiet reflection, individual prayer, the lighting of candles and to enjoy the Cathedral's history and heritage.

Please also note that an organ rehearsal will be taking place on Wednesday 13 April from 1pm until 5pm and that the sound from the rehearsal will be heard throughout the Cathedral.


Free guided tours of the Cathedral take place Monday to Saturday at 10am, 11am, 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. No booking is required and the tours start by the font in the Nave. Tours are subject to guide availability.

Jarrold at the Refectory Cafe

Jarrold at the Refectory Cafe is usually open every day from 10.30am until 3.30pm.

Please note that unfortunately the Refectory Cafe will be closed on Friday 8 April due to staff shortages due to Covid. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
