Hostry Exhibition Space
A picture of murals by the Bogside Artists

A travelling exhibition featuring the non-sectarian murals about the Civil Rights movement and the Troubles in the Bogside area of Derry, Northern Ireland.

Unlike sectarian murals, the Derry/Londonderry Murals of the Bogside Artists were never designed as political propaganda, declarations of identity, or territorial markers. They are works of art that tell the stories of ordinary people as they lived through harrowing times, providing a safe space for reflection on sensitive issues.
