Levens Choir, from South Cumbria, will give a lunchtime recital in the Nave.

Now in its 40th season, the Choir, under conductor Ian Jones, has established a reputation for high performance standards and innovative programming. The repertoire, sacred and secular, light and serious, is challenging and ambitious.

Levens Choir has performed to great acclaim in such illustrious venues as St Giles Cathedral Edinburgh, York Minster, Pershore and Tewkesbury Abbeys; and also in Worcester, Ely and Lichfield Cathedrals, as well as in Cumbrian venues such as Kendal Parish Church, Cartmel Priory and Lanercost Priory.

The programme will include:

- Felice Anerio: Christus Factus Est
- Anton Bruckner: Christus Factus Est
- Giovanni Gabrieli: Magnificat
- Josquin Desprez: Ave Maria
- Anton Bruckner: Ave Maria
