Professor Tom McLeish visits the Cathedral to give the 9th annual Science Faith Cathedral Lecture on the subject 'Why God loves Science & Science needs God'.

When people ask ‘are science and faith compatible?’ many assume that there is a fundamental conflict. Professor McLeish takes a different view, that the Christian faith can be seen as a natural foundation for science and scientific thinking.

This talk will be framed for those with little or no specialist knowledge in science or religion. All are welcome, of all faiths and none. Curious students and teenagers will be especially welcome.

Free to attend, with a retiring collection. No ticket required - simply turn up on the day.

Event organised by Science Faith Norfolk; a local group of scientists and theologians affiliated to Christians in Science.
