Join us for this talk given by Dr Mark Rankin, Associate Professor of English at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, USA.

Mark is currently completing a census of surviving copies of 16th-century editions of Foxe's "Book of Martyrs" (more properly, Acts and Monuments), and recently identified the copy at Norwich Cathedral's Library as one of only 28 copies of the 1570 edition in the UK.

We'll learn more about John Foxe's work and about the Cathedral's own copy, for which we are raising money to meet its conservation needs.

The book will be on display and there will be a bookstall themed to reflect this year's 500th anniversary of the commencement of the Reformation.

Free to attend and all welcome. Refreshments will be provided with donations welcome.
