Christian Perspectives on War

24 October 2015
10:00 - 12:30
A picture of a student at an NCCL talk
As centenary commemorations for the Great War continue, we consider Christian attitudes to war.
For 2000 years the universal church has not come to a common mind over whether or not it is permissible for Christians to participate in war. So this session will consider four broad distinct positions which Christians adopt, setting out the arguments both for and against each one, followed by small group discussion, then plenary Q&As.
Tutor - The Revd Tim Dean, cost - £10 per session.
