Tours

We offer a wide range of tours to suit the casual visitor and those coming with a particular interest on one of our themed tours.

  • Daily guided tours - open to all

Our trained Guides conduct general guided tours of the Cathedral every day (Monday - Saturday) at the following times:
    10.45am, 12.30pm and 2.15pm.

The tours begin in the Nave at the Welcome and Information Desk and last approximately forty-five minutes.

These tours are for the casual visitor and family group. We make no charge but we ask for a donation at the end.

Roving Cathedral Guides are available, morning and afternoon, to answer your questions if you do not wish to take a tour. They can be identified by their green sashes.

Groups should book their visit in advance in order to avoid services and other events. They cannot be accommodated on the normal informal tours.

Group guided tours begin near the Information Desk in the Nave of the Cathedral and cost £4.00 per adult, £2.00 per child/student.
