Flower Guild

Easter is approaching fast:
flowers, particularly lilies, are going to be very expensive this year. If you would like to donate towards them, please send it to the Sacrist at Norwich Cathedral (cheques payable to "Norwich Cathedral Flower Guild").

Who we are:

We are a happy band of volunteers who arrange flowers in various places in the cathedral. We change the arrangements every Friday morning, although it can be done on a Thursday if necessary.

What we do:

Flower arrangers

A committee member is on duty each Friday morning, clearing out old greenery and preparing oasis. The arrangers bring the fresh flowers and greenery and set to work, enjoying an hour or two in our beautiful, peaceful cathedral.

We are very short of helpers throughout the year, without whose hard work our arrangements would not survive. If you can spare some time and are able to lift a watering can, please contact:
