We are fortunate to have a vibrant Schools and Family Learning department at Norwich Cathedral.
Working from the Bowerbank Room, a modern fit for purpose space in The Hostry Visitor & Education Centre, our team of educators see thousands of young people every year.
Norwich Cathedral is a popular destination for schools when choosing their educational visits for the year.
Teachers bring their young people here to experience one of our themed sessions, which have been developed with Key Stages 1-5 in mind. To find out more about the experiences we offer, as well as what other teachers have said about their visit, please take a look at our School Visits page.
Alongside our qualified teachers and experienced sacred space practitioners, the Schools and Family Learning department benefits greatly from the teaching skills and expertise offered by our volunteers. We are also very keen to offer opportunities to young people who are starting out in the teaching profession and who are perhaps looking to gain experience as part of their training.
If you would like to explore the possibility of helping with our schools work, please complete a volunteers enquiry form and we’ll be in touch.
