Schools Programmes for Reception, KS1, 2 and 3

All our programmes have been revised to incorporate various enquiry based Areas of Study for the 2012 RE Norfolk Agreed Syllabus, learning from and learning about Christianity.

We also actively promote SMSC through sharing, reflection and a time to be still. Other areas of the curriculum include English and Drama, Art and Design, Science, History, Music and Citizenship.

The Cathedral is an awesome space to explore and experience. All our programmes include the creative arts to stimulate the children’s imagination and provide a framework for a clear focus to learn, reflect on and express Christian concepts. Our spiritual and quiet times enable them to reflect on meaning and values, or to simply respond to the experience of living in the moment.

Although Key Stage suitability is suggested, activities can be tailored to suit specific requirements and those with special educational needs. We frequently collaborate with secondary teachers to create and deliver a package tailored to KS4 requirements.

We try to keep costs to a minimum. Prices for students are indicated after each activity and teachers and accompanying adults are free.

Teachers may also wish to lead their own group with the aid of one of our discovery trails

To book a tour click here or to discuss your requirements please call 01603 218320 or email education@cathedral.org.uk

Please note that the tours listed here are those organised by the Schools Department for young people. We also have a range of interesting tours available for other (adult) visitors. For more information please visit the Tours section.
