These terms and conditions (the "Special Conditions") govern online purchases from Norwich Cathedral Enterprises Ltd and are in addition to the general terms and conditions (the "Conditions") governing all those who browse and use this website. If you make an online purchase from Norwich Cathedral Enterprises Ltd you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by both the Conditions and Special Conditions.
Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our site, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
You are able to correct mistakes on your order up to the point at which you click on "Order".
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your debit/credit card information via phone, fax, post or over the Internet.
You confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours. Please note that all credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the issuer of the card. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to pay or does not for any reason authorise, we will not be liable for delay or non-delivery of items. We retain the legal ownership of all items until full payment has been made by you and received by us and legal ownership of the items will immediately transfer back to us if we refund any payment for the items to you. Risk in the items transfers to you upon delivery.
All items are offered subject to availability. The information displayed is considered as an invitationto treat, not as a confirmed offer for sale. The steps required to create the contract between you and us are as follows:
You place your order when you click on the "Order" button at the end of the checkout process. You are able to correct mistakes on your order until you click on "Order".
We will send to you an e-mail acknowledging your order and detailing the items you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Norwich Cathedral.
Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will occur when we send you the items ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it (see below for cancellation procedure).
An order may not be accepted due to one of the following:
The Item(s) you ordered are out of stock.
We cannot obtain authorisation for your payment
We have found a pricing or product description error.
You should inspect your purchase upon receipt and check that everything specified is included. You will be deemed to have accepted the order unless you notify us upon receipt that there is a problem or you cancel your order in accordance with your cancellation rights and/or you return the items in accordance with our returns policy. If you fail to take such action, we are not obliged to accept any rejection by you of the items at a later date.
You can cancel your order within seven working days starting from the day after you receive the items (except perishable items or audio/video/DVD recordings/computer software which you have unsealed - these can only be returned/exchanged if faulty). Where items are delivered to a third party you may exercise your right to cancel if you are able to return the items to us. Your statutory rights are not affected. Shipping And Handling
All prices are displayed excluding delivery charges. Shipping and handling is charged by weight and destination. The total amount will be shown at the checkout stage.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order right away. We will normally dispatch within 2 working days of receipt of your order. International orders are generally received in under 21 days.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
All prices displayed are inclusive of VAT where applicable, but do not include delivery charges.
Please note that if you are ordering for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes.
Such duties and taxes will be payable when the items reach their destination. The liability for payment of such duties and taxes rest solely with you and Norwich Cathedral Enterprises Ltd has no control or liability for them.

Returns Policy
Our "no quibbles" guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us within 30 days of the date you received the item, so long as it is in resaleable condition and securely packaged; perishable items and, audio/video/ DVD recordings/computer software which you have unsealed can only be refunded/exchanged if faulty. Please send the unwanted purchase to Norwich Cathedral Gift Shop, 62 The Close, Norwich, Norfolk NR1 4EH, United Kingdom, indicating whether you want a refund or replacement.
Please note that the refund will only be made to the person who purchased the item.
Replacements will be sent to the original delivery address.
We regret that unless the item is faulty or delivered in error we cannot reimburse either outward or return postage costs. If an item you are returning goes missing and does not reach us, we will not refund, credit or replace it. We thus advise you to use a trackable form of postal service. You will be notified of the refund by email and and a refund will be made in the same form or payment as originally used for purchase.
