Visiting the Broderers’ Guild throughout the year

The Workshop is not normally open to the public. However, group tours of the Workshop for eight to fifteen people can be arranged throughout the year by contacting the Workshop Supervisor.

'Behind the Scenes' Workshop Tours 

We have a number of dates on offer in 2010 for small groups and individuals:-

28th April          11th August

19th May           25th August

16th June          15th September

7th July             20th October

21 July              17th November

The guided tour costs £4 and we meet outside Prior's Hall at 1400.

It is advisable to book ahead with the Workshop Supervisor (01603 218326) as numbers are limited.

The Broderers' Guild Workshop is situated on the first floor above the Prior’s Hall at 56b The Close, Norwich.

We regret that there is no level access to the Workshop.

 

Cathedral Vestment Tours

Tours of the Cathedral vestments and frontals should be arranged with Reception.

Consultation and advice sessions

Consultation and advice sessions to organisations, groups and individuals concerning ecclesiastical textiles are by prior appointment with the Workshop Supervisor. Level access can be arranged if required.
