Safeguarding policy

At Norwich Cathedral we are committed to the nurturing, protection and safekeeping of children, young people and vulnerable adults in our care.

The Revd Canon Aidan Platten has been appointed by the Cathedral's Chapter to oversee the Cathedral's safeguarding policy and is responsible for exercising oversight of those who work with children, young people and vulnerable adults.

If you have a safeguarding concern, you can get in touch with the Revd Canon Aidan Platten by emailing canonprecentor@cathedral.org.uk or by calling 01603 218214.

If you would like to speak to a professional safeguarding advisor, please contact the Cathedral’s safeguarding officer, Peter Sayer, on 07342 999386 or peter.sayer@dioceseofnorwich.org
Please be aware that Peter works part time.
